LOS ANGELES, California — Authorities in Los Angeles County are continuing an extensive homicide investigation after four individuals, including 31-year-old Khajag Basmajian, were found dead inside a residence on Londelius Street in the Reseda neighborhood.
According to officials, deputies and emergency responders were dispatched to the home following reports of possible gunfire and concerns for the welfare of those inside the residence. Upon arrival, authorities discovered four victims suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. All four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later identified one of the victims as Khajag Basmajian. Officials confirmed that one of the deceased was a minor, though additional identities have not yet been publicly released pending notification of family members and ongoing investigative procedures.
Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department immediately secured the property as a crime scene while forensic teams began processing evidence. Investigators are currently examining ballistic materials, reviewing surveillance footage from surrounding properties, and analyzing digital evidence in an effort to establish a timeline leading up to the tragedy.
Authorities have not announced whether a suspect has been identified, and officials say several investigative possibilities remain under consideration. Detectives have urged the public to avoid spreading speculation online while the investigation remains active.
Residents in the surrounding Reseda community described a heavy law enforcement presence throughout the area as streets near the residence were temporarily restricted during evidence collection.
